Stephen Herrera of Waterford, Ct. pulled off an impressive weekend double winning the USATF Ct. Crosscountry Championship in Hartford on Saturday and then on Sunday, running to a course record 44:01 clocking in the ninth annual Lil' Rhody Runaround 7.9 Mile Trail Race on Sunday. Herrera's time bested the previous mark of 44:06 set by Dave Dunham of the Central Mass. Striders in 1994.

Leslie Keene of Fall River Mass. was also impressive With her 3rd Lil' Rhody win in a row in a time of 57: 04. She also won in 98' and 99'!
