What was missing at Belleville 10K this year was SNOW.
What was not missing was 13 WTAC runners who came out to
enjoy some fun on the trails:

WTAC Treasurer Jonny Hammett planned out the course for
the inaugural Chili 5K, and despite a late start amidst his
race duties, won the race as well! WTAC finishers:

A small WTAC group headed over to Kelley's Pace for this
year's Frostbite 5-Miler. The WTAC group highlights
were age group wins from Aaron Tallardy and Colburn Graves.

The first race of the year for many WTAC members was
this year's Resolution 5K, part of the 4th Season Race
Series put on by Mike Galoob. Conditions were not
ideal with strong gusts of wind and slippery mud slowing
down the runners. However, the WTAC team had an
impressive showing and had fun in the process. The
Men's team, led by a strong performance from Jonathan Hammett,
couldn't quite catch the speedy Rhode Runners, but took a
notable runner-up finish. The Women's team did take
the gold, led by Shira Fuller, who took the overall female
runner-up spot.

Four members of the club kicked off the New Year at
Warwick City Park for the first edition of the Buttonwoods
5K, put on by established runner Bob Jackman.

Eleven WTAC runners braved the cold and snow to run the
Belleville 10K. WTAC was well represented, but missed
1st place by just 20 seconds.

Resolution 5K
|
About 15 WTAC runners came out a cold, windy, snowy morning
to have some fun at the Resolution 5K. We just got
edged out by the TNT team, but had another good and fun
showing.
Congrats to Kelsey on 1st female, Justin on 2nd overall, and
Matthew on age group winner.

Old Mountain 5K Trail Race - Wakefield, RI

the frigid 25 degree weather and run this trail race the
